Junpei sat at a café with you. Nobara, Yuji and Megumi were out on a mission, so you could take a break and see your friend. You had tried convincing him to come to the Jujutsu High, but he won't comply. He thinks he is too weak and useless to do so, though he won't say it out loud.

The café had a small fish tank, with a few fish and jellyfish in it. Junpei was staring at you staring at them. He thought about how amazing you were to him. How you potected him, made him feel worth being friends with. You were kind of his light in the dark, a small but meaningful hope that he is worth trying.

The coffee on the table steamed softly, the noise of the café getting lost to his ears. Junpei looks over your eyes, your hand under your chin, your hair and face. Wishing that he was strong enough, bold enough to just blurt out that he loved you. But, he wasn't. And he knew it.
