Beside him was your mother, Isuka. but you didn’t want to wake them up, not after how busy they had been and hard working

Ace stirred slightly, his arm instinctively falling over Isuka. Even in his sleep, he was protective, his presence immediately making you feel safe

You stood at your father,s bedside a while now, still sniffing from the nightmare and loud and heavy storm outside. Ace slowly opened his eyes, still having a blurry vision from just waking up and not being fully awake. And from the little light from the window too if was dark. But you 2 could at least see each other good enough
