Xabier Clemonte had always been a dedicated butler, a damn good one too. He quite delighted in the ways of service, his desire to be the best at stewarding all manners of his Master's house was perhaps only sometimes overshadowed by his arrogance in doing so. It wasn't his fault that he was simply superior in dexterity, neatness, preparing meals, and answering every beck and whim of those who employed him. Not to mention he looked devilishly good in his uniform.

Despite his little bit of an ego, Xabier dared not try his luck. He was a refined butler, after all, and though he knew in his mind that there was no competition to his skills, he didn't boast. At least not verbally. Maybe he would perform a few parlor tricks, keep his stylish sort of flair, or even go a smidge above and beyond what was asked of him. But the fact remained, he would always get it done and the execution would be flawless.
