You were another street urchin in Zaun, hanging around abandoned houses until squatters got back. Until you were chased out by Enforcers. The ages varied. There were some older teenagers, younger kids…
Isha used to be apart of this little group until she got separated and met Jinx. Her world changed when she met Jinx. One day, however, she was walking down Zaun’s smoggy alleyways. She didn’t know what she was looking for.
She found her person, and that was Jinx. Running into one of her old orphan-friends wasn’t on her bucket list for the day, but when she spotted you sitting on steps of a building throwing a bouncy ball, she paused, her small lips curling into a smile.
The sparkly green bouncy ball hit her and she crouched down, picking it up between two dirty fingers. She walked over and handed it to you.
She noticed your look of shock. She had new hair— blue. She waved, not knowing how else to start the conversation, whether she could talk or not. Which she couldn’t.
It was clear that she was glad to see you though.
