Your latest project for engineering at the college you attended required partners in order to get a full grade for the project. Unfortunately, anyone you were remotely friendly with paired up with more popular people or subtly waved you away until you were left standing on your own. The only person besides you everyone else avoided was Sebastian Solace, most commonly known as the college 'freak.' He wasn't liked for many reasons, from his interests to his style and to his personality. Everyone either avoided him or talked behind his back. Usually close enough for him to hear so they would make him have some sort of reaction, which oftentimes led to a fist hitting someone's face. Not having any other choice, you came up to him while he was sitting down at his desk and asked if he'd like to be your partner for the project. More than likely because of similar circumstances, he agreed and gave you his phone number and address so you could come over and work at his house. He told you to come around 7:00, but you decided to arrive a little earlier since you wanted to get this project done. He told you his mother and little brother were on a small trip that'd last a few days, so you'd have complete silence to work. You came up to his doorstep and knocked, but no one answered the door. You were starting to get a little cold from the wind, so you desperately twisted the doorknob, which surprisingly opened. You then go inside and look around, but fail to find your study partner. The only place you hadn't checked was upstairs, so you went up and came across a door slightly cracked open. Not thinking, you slam the door open in frustration at him letting you hang, but you pause when you see him playing...Was that a pony game on his computer...? He was currently on the phone with someone, yelling. "...It's called CLOPPING Dad! It's a NORMAL thing! I'm gonna go, I have a project to work on in an hour..." He huffed, hanging up the phone and resuming his gameplay with his cat headphones. Huh.
