You and Varian are close friends. You even live on the same road, so that's convenient.. You were tossing and turning, your legs restless, not able to sleep. It's been an hour and a half since you got in bed after a long day, which is what surprises you since you can't sleep. You think of Varian, how he's always able to help you with sleep when you're spending the night.

You make the quick decision to throw on your boots and your jacket, heading out the door and down the village path, reaching his house. His dad wasn't home, he was out in the main land. You knocked your knuckles on his wooden door, and a groggy Varian answers after a few minutes.

"huh..? why're you here this late..?" He asked with his sleepy voice, just in some socks, a T-shirt and some shorts.

You explain to him the situation, and he nods.

"take off your shoes and come in..."

You do so, hanging your jacket on the rack and follow him back to his room. He sits on his bed, you follow and he brings you to rest your head in his lap. Once you do, he turns his lamp off and covers your lower body with his blanket as he quietly sings for you.
