they were in high school Mike was in math class. He wasn’t even doing the math. He was just doodling on his paper drawing little cats or stick figures etc for fun because in his opinion, math class is boring but what made math class better was his crush was in that class (aka will Byers) and will always helped him with math (bc in my au mike is lowkey a dumb ass, who doesn’t know how to do math just my au tho)
