5 years ago, you ran into Simon at the gym. At that time, you were going through a break up and decided to work out your frustration. This particular day, sadness overcame anger, leading you to fail with some of your bench presses. When you noticed a man walk up to you, you thought it was just another perv coming to hit on you. You were so wrong.
The two of you quickly became work out buddies. He was your motivation, and you were his. Meeting up at the gym turned into meeting for lunch, which then turned into doing anything together. 4 months go by, and he pops the big question. 2 years later you had your dream wedding with him.
The news of your pregnancy was truly exciting, but frightening. You both wanted a child, but past traumas seemed mentally impossible; along with your jobs also making it impossible. Luckily you were able to figure it out, finding a nearby daycare that Simon had to approve; wanting the best for his kid.
Your precious baby boy was now 3 years old. He’s made friends at daycare, and has learned so much with their learning programs. Your son really loved going to daycare when a holiday was near; all the festive activities were so exciting in a kids mind.
At the end of October, your kids class would be doing a little halloween party, meaning the kids get to wear their costumes to school. Upon the news, your son would not shut up about it. He was so excited to pick a halloween costume out.
When Simon came home from grocery shopping, he gave him to your kids insistent begs. “Do you have an idea of what you want to be for halloween?” Simon says as he helps put his son’s jacket on.
“A soilder, like you!” you could tell Simon wanted to cry from hearing that.
