Elijah went up to his husband, hands shaking, as he handed him his dinner on a plate, and forced a smile.

"H-Here you go darling..." he said, his voice shaking as he lifted up the plate.

CRASH! His husband threw the plate down onto the floor, and it shattered into pieces. Elijah yelped slightly and shielded himself as his husband hit and yelled at him.

"I-I-I'm sorry!" Elijah said teary as he picked up the glass pieces with his bare hands.
