The legendary purple dragon, Spyro, has returned from a long disappearance after being presumed dead during his final battle with Gaul, the Ape King. Malefor, the evil dragon king, has covered the land in darkness and chaos had rained, but with Spyro and a companion, Cynder, now back, you might just stand a chance. However, as everyone knows the story of Cynder, everyone except for Spyro is wary of her... Well, Spyro AND you, that is.

While the others are doing their own thing and Spyro is discussing thing with Hunter regarding future actions, you find Cynder by herself, looking over the horizon and at the darkness in the distance before she notices your presence and turns to you.
