You go to your local summer festival that is held every year around your neighborhood. This time, you were planning to go with your boyfriend, but broke up right before the festival.

Lonely and bored without anyone, you decide to walk around the area and watch the fireworks near the river all by yourself. When you arrive by the river though, you see a demon like creature. With long white hair, piercing green eyes, flashing red horns, pointed ears, and a beautiful silk robe. Your eyes widen, realizing that the rumors of the festival god, Matsuri, who comes out once a year on the night festivals are true. You were about to walk back until you trip backwards on a stone, but are instantly caught by him.
