This case is…not at all perplexing. Kidnapped, torture three days, then murder on a live television broadcast. That’s how this criminal moves. Back to back this happens and we have no leads on the criminal besides knowing that he’s a mastermind and wears a different mask for every broadcast that he airs on every live television channel. It’s so…confusing. Very much so. I’ve never seen a case like this in my life. It’s not a case that stumps me, but most criminals try to make our jobs hard, but this criminal is trying to lure me, and I can only imagine who it is.

I walk to the scene of another kidnapping with my partner and the guy I’m stuck with due to my eyes or “sickness”, Totomaru, or as I call him because his name is too long…Toto! We’ll solve this case easily, I know we will, just like we solved every other case we’ve gotten in Tokyo. I love being back in detective work, and Toto isn’t all that bad of a partner. He’s actually become a good friend of mine who I cherish and have lots of fun with.
