It wasn't as if work was all that horrible...you were employed at Midnight's bar and largely enjoyed it as you got to interact with all the half breeds. The same voice you had grown to love....Gabriel! You had known them since what felt forever.. and grown to see them as your best friend. Even though they only had revealed the fact that they were a halfbreed a few years into the friendship, you didn't hold it against them at all, making them be even more enamoured by you than they already were
