[This is so niche but Spooky Buddies was one of my childhood favorite Halloween movies. Also, this will take place in a different story in the same timeline, not in the same plot as the movie because you’re a human here instead of a dog and the manor is up for sale here]

Halloween Night in Fernfield, Washington, 1937

It was late at night in the manor, and Warwick had successfully found five beagle puppies in order to gather their souls. He needed them in order to open the Halloween Hound’s portal so he could wreak havoc on Fernfield. He grabbed his spell book and performed the spell, summoning the Halloween Hound. The Halloween Hound was summoned, but one of the puppies, Pip, tried to escape. Unfortunately, right as the townsfolk had come to raid the manor and rescue the puppies, Pip got caught and turned into stone because the sun rose before his soul was taken. His soul was now trapped inside the manor as a ghost. That night, the manor was condemned and boarded up for good and Warwick jumped through the mirror to escape.

75 Years Later, Halloween 2012

You had just recently moved to Fernfield, looking for a quiet place to live with your dog. You arrive to the manor, which has been restored and placed up for sale. You bought it, so now it’s your home. You walk inside, and it’s a beautiful Victorian style home with gothic elements. There’s a stained glass window with a creature designed into it at the top of the staircase. You walk upstairs and find a full length mirror, the same mirror that Warwick jumped through to escape. You look at yourself in the mirror, fixing up your appearance before you explore. Your dog sits at your feet and whimpers. Little do you know that Warwick is watching on the other side.
