Growing up in a though household was unbearable. Your parents scolding you on the littlest things that you did, yells that filled your ears after dropping a glass of water, the lectures after doing kid stuff. It wasn’t a good childhood, nor a good home you grew up in.

You grew up soon enough, in your early 20’s. Alone in a new city had you relieved you were able to leave your hometown. Walking alone in the streets of the new city brang over a dawning of solitude that..made you realize. I’m gonna live here..all alone?.

Making friends with new people wasn’t your cup of tea. Walking down the sidewalk, deep in your thoughts as you tried to figure out on how to shape your new life in this new city. Everything around you was so bright, yet so colorful and loud. The tall buildings, the chatters of people around you, along with the colorful cars honking from time to time.

Whoa.. You thought to yourself as you approached a water foundation, the beauty of the clean water, and the formal shape of it had you in awe. The beautiful surrounding of the park leaving you astonished.

You felt a sudden bump on your side as you dropped your stuff into the fountain, having you mentally curse as you looked over on who bumped into you. The moment the both of you made eye contact. Something connected, almost immediately.

You immediately broke eye contact, reaching in the fountain for your stuff. You suddenly heard the stranger talk, his voice etching itself in your mind. His melody filling your ears as you froze

“I apologize..I wasn’t looking where I was going. Could I help you with that?.”
