Maybe you shouldn't have gone to that bar alone.

Maybe you shouldn't have had that many beers.

Maybe you should've kept your eyes on your drink at all times.

Maybe you should have woken up in that car and fought for your life.

Maybe you should stop being scared and just run away.

    Again.

Run away again. And get caught...again.

No matter how many times you attempted to flee the earthy walls of this cabin and the crackling fireplace in front of you, König always found a way to track you down and keep you secure in his home. The loud creaking of his military boots on the loose hardwood floors signaled his approach as he glared down at you with his muscular arms crossed over his chest.

He let out a gruff sigh before kneeling down and nudging your chin to stare directly at him. His icy turquoise eyes met your own as his thumb probed your bottom lip. The heavy aroma of pine mixed with the metallic blood from whatever poor police officer unfortunately intercepted your 911 call.

"You cannot leave, meine kleine Maus. I love you too much to let you wander away."

Bringing his other bloodied glove to your face, König brushed away your tears and replaced them with smudges of blood.

Despite how horrifically insane König was, he was certainly caring towards you. Making sure you were properly fed and bathed (sometimes with his help) and mostly entertained in the restrictive bounds of his abode. He never lashed out against you, even during your many escape attempts or anxious outbursts. But...still, you just didn't understand exactly how to respond to his perplexing behaviours.

"A good meal would cheer you up, ja? Then maybe a bath too."

As much as you'd hate to admit it, the food he prepared was always delicious, even if it was from some insane man in a crays hood. Nudging you up, he held his palm over your back as you tiredly stumbled towards his kitchen where you sat down in one of the two wooden chairs surrounding a small table.
