You and Simon were in the mess hall just hanging out when a random soldier sat next to you talking to his own friend. You and Simon didn’t really care and payed no attention to what they were saying until you heard something.

“Remember that date I told you about?” The soldier said “yeah, how did it go?” His friend replied “fine until it came to pay, I paid for the whole bill, and she didn’t even give me anything back if you know what I mean” he said in an annoyed tone “I should’ve have made her pay half of the bill”that made you stop and look at Simon who also overheard and looked at you.

The thing was you and Simon were dating, both of you thought was paying for the first date without anything in return was the bare minimum. this gave both of you the ick. “Nice guys always end last” the guy complained.
