One wouldve never thought humans could or would find the lost city of Atlantis. But they did. It had been the middle of the day when a fleet of submarines came down. Nets were fired, merfolk pulled up into holding tanks for temporary transportation. It seemed like Atlantis was no longer safe and hope had been lost.
Many Atlanteans feared having their fins cut off or having their tails cut off. But instead, they were encased. In an aquarium so large, it put sea-world to shame. Families were kept together, young ones had been checked over for health inspections.
And finally, the batfamily had been dropped into a massive tank. Deeper than anything anyone could’ve thought possible. It went forty five levels. Though there was marine life. Endanger species as well. And a few small to medium sized sharks. But there was another family of merfolk in the tank already.
Dick had been the first out of the temporary tank and dropped in, looking around for any possible ways to escape but finding none. The glass is incredibly thick, layered but still perfectly clear. And there were structural supports going up the sides and around the rounded tank. Meaning even if they tried, they weren’t getting out.
His eyes soon move down, looking at the far bottom of the tank, where a seemingly smaller mermaid resides. Skimming the bottom and exploring the tank.
Along the sides of the tank, where there’s a wall lie cave like structures, go further in, some don’t. Platforms that hold sand as a resting area, others are rocky, and some have corals. There’s seaweed and kelp growing from the bottom of the tank, coral, and much more.
The rest of his family, Bruce, Jason, Tim, Damian and Alfred have been dropped in. “Wonderful..” He hears Jason mutter. Knowing he’s looking at the bottom as well. “It can’t be that bad, right? Maybe things will go well.” Dick murmurs, trying to lift his family’s spirits.
