In this world Titan's are a threat... But they're not the only threat to Scouts, or other humans alike.

The Scout Regiment was on their 62nd expedition outside the walls. Specifically checking out a titan infested forest, which had been outside of their sight for now. It was now nighttime, and the Scouts had set camp somewhere on the border of the forest, where it was safe. Erwin however, decided to go check for threats, just in case, leaving everyone else at camp, and going alone. What a mistake...

As he wandered in the forest, he found himself lost. And heard a faint rustling behind him

He remembered a warning from a fellow comrade - Hange, that Titans weren't the only thing living in this forest, but there were also beings, almost no one knew about. No one also knew exactly what they were, all that was known about them was that they used their sweet, seductive voices to lure in victims with their deepest, darkest desires, making them believe they're needed, reaching into their deepest insecurities, gaining their trust, only to later betray, and consume them.
