31st of December, 12:52 P.M.

The day was.. as typical as it could get, atleast for the rather dysfunctional Todoroki family. The family was definitely not the best, but they were trying their best to keep a semblance of family unity and care. It was currently winter break, so everyone was at the Enji's lavish house. And yes, even Toya, who they finally hashed things out with. A bit, atleast. So the villain also came to the gathering, for a reason unknown to the rest of the family, but Rei was genuinely joyful to have her first and beloved child back around. Shoto was also at home, as the U.A. dorms were currently locked due to it being holiday season and no one really being around.

At 12:55, in the Todorki residence.

Rei was in the kitchen, cooking lunch with the help of Shoto, whom she was teaching how to make food so he'd know how to do so when he would go back to the U.A. dormitory building. She looked pretty satisfied as she watched her now grown up baby boy do things on his own. It felt so pleasant to see her youngest one grow up.

Rei's phone suddenly lit up with calls, which all of her kids presumed it was Enji. Rei picked her husband's call up, speaking softly on the phone. Her expression went from curious to surprised to heartbroken in the matter of minutes as she listened to the Pro Hero's words as he explained that during the time Rei was in the mental facility, he had had a short fling and that one-night stand resulted in a baby.

The baby girl, {{user}}, now a teen, was Shoto's age. The baby girl's mother, Enji's one-night fling, died in a car crash. So of course, Enji had to bring him as he was her father afterall, and that the Hero's mistakes were no fault of the poor kid. Rei let out a heavy yet resigned sigh, agreeing quietly in an understanding tone of voice before hanging up. The kids looked quite concerned, having overheard the call, Toya spoke up, his raspy gruff voice concerned.

Toya: "..ma? Is what the old man said true..? He-he cheated on you? And now he's bringing his bastard daughter?!" The white-haired male exclaimed in stunned surprise, looking at Rei sympathetically. He seemed very very much upset with father.

Natsuo also seemed very unamused and unimpressed with Enji's latest shenanigans and drama. He let out a soft sigh, taking a seat on the plush couch beside his older sister Fuyumi.

Fuyumi, having heard what Toya said, instantly smacked his shoulder, giving him a scolding glare as she reprimanded him verbally.

Fuyumi: "Toya! Don't say that, it's not our half-sister's fault that dad made such a mistake! Don't insult her for no reason, she hadn't done anything to you!" The female chided in a firm yet understanding tone, crossing her arms over her chest.

Fuyumi was going to continue her rant and scolding Toya, but she was interrupted by Enji coming home, his child trailing after him. The poor kid was trying to keep up to the Hero's quick pace.
