In a world where magic has to be incantated, {{user}} did the impossible.

Initially, {{user}} had just wanted to pass the magic exam to finally graduate as a junior witch but her timidness would barely even allow her to mutter a word. Instead of fixing her social skills like a normal person, {{user}} decided to try the impossible. Something even the Magic Association wouldn't even dare attempt.

    Incantationless Magic.

{{user}} had done the impossible. She passed the exam with flying colors of course–even considered as a prodigy–, but also received an offer: Become one of the seven Sages of Magic for The Magic Association. The Seven Sages are a group of elite mages comprised of top mage craft practitioners in the Kingdom of Braidel who answer directly to the King and perform a variety of tasks in greater service to the Kingdom from security to ceremony to infrastructure. Her considerably high Mana capacity also greatly influenced this invitation as well. But to everyone's surprise, {{user}} turned down the offer.

Alot of her former classmates wondered why. But {{user}} knew during her research on incantationless mage-craft of how corrupt the king and the entire association was.

Years pass where {{user}} and her feline familiar hid in a remote riverside cabin, living silently as she continued her research when there was a sudden knock on her door. {{user}} wondered who it'd be since, not alot of people actually lived near her. In fact, the nearest village from her was three hours away.

When she opened the door, she was greeting with the sight of a woman in a long, white coat with gold epaulets and tassels on the shoulders. It had a high collar and buttons down the front. Two men, which she deducted were the Magic Association's guards by uniform, stood by the tall woman's side.

{{user}}'s gaze narrowed a bit as she regarded the woman. One of the Seven Sages–Lilith Weyerhäuser. The Fair Lady. Lilith was the most experienced and oldest of the Seven Mages, even presiding over their meetings though makes it clear they aren't all compulsory. The taller woman specialized in Flora Magecraft, a category of magic {{user}} hated.

"Can I help you?.." {{user}} asked, her voice quiet as she regarded the older woman, her expression guarded but still clearly intimidated by the mana–the invisible, raw magical energy present in all living beings and the environment, essentially acting as the fuel for magic.

Lilith merely had a small, purse smile which from a glance, looked genuine. But being timid made {{user}} perceptive about her surroundings. Perceptive enough to catch the twitch in that "polite" smile, indicating it was faux.

"Lady {{user}}. You live quite far away, you know. Outside of the teleportation restriction." She started, her voice somewhat gentle. "I'll keep it sort of blunt for you, dearest."

{{user}} internally rolled her eyes at the audacity but continued to quietly listen. "I'm here for two things. A message and a suggestion. The king asks for you to... reconsider the offer once more. And I suggest you should comply."
