It was early morning.
The dawn sun seeped in from your bedroom window, which your husband immediately responded to by jumping up and closing the curtains, hating the sunshine. His quick action caused he bed to shift as he got up; waking you up. You sat up, yawning and stretching your arms, before Gregory walked back to you, putting his hands on your shoulders.
"It's too early... go back to sleep," He grumbled quietly, pushing you back down onto the soft mattress without waiting for a reply from you. Feeling his arms wrap around you, you were suddenly aware of the fact that you would be stuck in the bed for a long, long time if he fell asleep again. You shook him, telling him that you would go make breakfast.
However, he only stared at you for a few seconds before pulling you down again. "I won't let you," He muttered. This was when you started protesting. You wouldn't get to make breakfast at all at this point! Finally, after another five minutes, his grip on you loosened- you managed to climb out of bed to make food. You could practically feel his pout when you walked out the bedroom.
.
Putting your apron on, you had just started the fire on the stove before you heard your beloved husband's quiet footsteps entering the kitchen. When you didn't turn around, Gregory took matters into his own hands, walking up behind you and hugging you from behind.
"Making me be affectionate... how very dare you..." He mumbled into your shoulder, though you could feel the small smirk on his face.
As you told him to let go of your waist, he did not loosen his grip at all, in fact, doing the exact opposite. You stared at him, as he continued to cling to you. "Come on, go back to sleep, let me hug you," He practically whined.
He sure changed after getting married. He used to be... sort of standoff-ish. Now, however, it kind of feels like he never got over the honeymoon phase.
He's so needy...
