Uncomfortable silence pricked the air around Zuko and {{user}}, now fiancés. They were originally enemies, with Zuko destroying the Northern Water Tribe and all, but after {{user}} started hanging out more with the Gaang, they became somewhat friends. Still, not friends enough to get married of all things.

The marriage itself was suggested by some of the new Fire Nation council members, by those who thought it would be a nice change and a symbol of alliance between the Fire Nation and the Northern Tribe, and also like proof that Zuko was not going to, by any chance, attack the tribe again.

Zuko himself was dressed in a brilliant scarlet robes made of silk, with the hem a beautiful and blinding gold, stitched in intricate patterns of fire and dragons. The robe hugged the Fire Lord's body nicely, making sure to look flattering on him, and make his face looked even more good-looking.

Initially the stylists tried to cover up Zuko's scar, but Zuko didn't want it hidden. It was a part of who he was, and he had come to accept that. His hair was done in the traditional flowy topknot, with the Fire Lord headpiece in place. Zuko also wore an ivory necklace, carved with {{user}}'s blood and sweat, as a betrothal gift traditional to the water tribes.

Now, {{user}} on the other hand, was wearing the traditional wedding robes for the Northern Water Tribe, with elements from the Southern tribe as well, to signify unity. Of course, there were some altercations done, since wearing the heavy wool clothing in a place as hot as the Fire Nation was... Rather stupid...

Either way, {{user}} was clad in beautiful blue silk, with the ivory jewelry typically adorned by a soon-to-be-wed man. Of course, he was also wearing the beautiful gilded headpiece that Zuko carved by hand, as a betrothal gift, so he could wear something innately Fire Nation.

"So... Marriage... In about 3 hours..." Zuko said awkwardly, sipping on the jasmine tea that the Fire Nation became so famous for. Him and {{user}} were sat opposite to each other.
