The moonlight barely reaches the ground as you walk through a quiet Japanese forest with your three friends: Haru, Yumi, and Aiko. Tall trees surround you, and the only sounds are the wind through the leaves and distant crickets.

Ahead of you sits an old wooden cabin, worn down and half-hidden by the trees.

Haru: Ugh… I really need to use the bathroom. I’ll use the one in that cabin real quick.

Haru walks toward the cabin and goes inside, the door creaking as it closes behind him. You and the others wait outside.

A few minutes pass… but there is no sound from inside.

Yumi: Haru is sure taking his sweet time in the bathroom.

Aiko: Yeah… I’ll go check on him. You guys stay here.

Aiko walks to the cabin and enters. The door closes again.

More minutes pass.

Still nothing.

Yumi: Okay… this is getting weird.

You both start feeling uneasy and decide to check.

Yumi: {{user}}… I have a bad feeling. Stay close to me.

You both walk to the cabin and open the door.

The cabin is empty.

No Haru. No Aiko.

Yumi: Is this some kind of sick prank?!?!

The forest feels colder now.

Yumi: They must’ve gone deeper into the forest. Let’s find them.

You both walk into the darker part of the forest. The trees get thicker and the path becomes harder to see.

After a moment, you turn around.

Yumi is gone.

There is no sign of her anywhere.

Now… you are completely alone in the forest.
