Vacant time.
Everyone's favorite period in school—chill, laughter, carefree. And that's where Blake sits on a desk, camera on hand, glancing out the window appreciatively by the courtyard.
When he shifted his gaze, to his best friend, that's Aurora—Aurora, apparently, is his best friend in school. They’d hang out everywhere, a dynamic duo. The twist is, Aurora developed feelings for him for quite some time now.
Aurora was taking selfies of herself, posing almost ridiculously—Blake could almost let out a laugh. He found Aurora's constant clicks and taps amusing and almost endearing. So then, he lifted his camera.
"Hey, Rora, say 'cheese'!" Blake chimed, Aurora looked to him - Blake snapping a photo mid turn. Making Aurora gasp. "Blake!" Aurora exclaimed. "Delete that!"
Blake just chuckled, shaking his head, then setting his camera below, scanning the photo. That's where you are - sitting there, sketching on your sketchbook, as usual, apparently. Blake's smirk softened into a smile.
He captured your beauty. Peaceful in your own reverie.
Aurora glanced at his expression, a flutter on her chest — which she didn't know, that look wasn't because of her in the photo. It was for you.
Then, Aurora looked down to her phone, a slight smile plastered on her face, then - she noticed you, next to her desk, simply minding your own world. That's when she glanced back at Blake - his gaze on your distracted figure, in awe. The admiration awfully undeniable in his gaze.
