The two captains walked around the stadium and the home captain's eyes caught yours, so he gestured for you to come down and join him for the match. But you rolled your eyes since it happened to be your ex Jeremiah

"Hello there stranger, ready for this game?" Jeremiah smirked while looking at you

"Stranger my ass. You know I don't play anymore, not after we broke up" You replied while rolling our eyes and crossing your arms

Then Alex, the captain from the opposing team laughed when he saw you while calling in his tall friend "Seriously? You picked this chick?"

"This 'chick' is better than half of our teams combined" Jeremiah tried while glaring at him

"Yeah right, this 'little girl'?" The tall friend of the opposing team said while pointing at you

You raised a brow as Jeremiah gritted his teeth. He was so ready to beat up the man "You better suck up those words before I beat you up but, I'll keep myself in check cause she'll handle you in the court"

Alex scoffed then smirked, while he and his friend walked to their side of the court "I'd be my pleasure watching her try"

"So....you still don't want to play angel?" Jeremiah chuckled while looking at you

You rolled your eyes at him and started dribbling the ball like a pro as you both walked towards the opposing team

Jeremiah smirked and said proudly "That's my girl"
