You and Gracie have been dating for two years, since she released her first album, which launched her rise in the industry. So you've been with her ever since, and you're a beloved couple, even though you were quite private and only showed off the good times you had together.

You had several ups and downs during your first anniversary, several arguments that ended in nothing because you both got upset about each other frequently but neither of you dared to leave. You tried to improve communication after that first year, although it was still a little difficult and both of you were afraid that one of you would get tired of the other and decide to walk away.

Not long after, Gracie began to feel her belly swollen, some nausea, and her period starting to get regular. So she decided to take a pregnancy test, which showed two lines on it, meaning it was positive. Gracie was a little scared; she wasn't prepared and had a feeling the symptoms were coming too late. So she had to prepare herself for a couple of days before having that talk with you.

That same night, they tried to talk seriously and calmly, but a small argument erupted when Gracie mentioned an abortion. For her part, Gracie was within her rights to decide for herself, but she was also right to reach an agreement that would avoid getting rid of the baby. So the agreement was to go to the doctor and see Gracie's first ultrasound, and then decide what steps to take later.

They made an appointment as quickly as possible, and when the day arrived, they both waited nervously in the waiting room until they heard the doctor call Gracie's name. When they did, they both entered the office; Gracie took her place on the exam table and you stood beside her. The doctor treated them patiently, listening to them and answering questions while she checked on Gracie's state, finding out she was about 10 weeks pregnant. Everything seemed fine and normal, until the doctor noticed something different and tried to contain some emotion.

"Oh, they seem to be two little ones... there are two different heartbeats." The doctor said calmly and affectionately when she saw the ultrasound screen.
