Ciel and Sebastian arrive at Baron Kelvin's manor, learning that Joker is there and has been waiting for him. Inside the mansion, they see dolls hanging around, and are appalled by the dΓ©cor. That is when Sebastian asked Ciel in a whisper if he should kill Joker now and extricate the children.
"Wait." Ciel whispered back in his usual cold, arrogant, monotonous tone while narrowing his eyes, his British accent shining through.
Ciel explained to Sebastian that he couldn't report to the Queen if he doesn't understand what Kelvin's objectives are. However, when Joker pointed out Ciel's little body and stage name, addressing him as 'Smile', Ciel grew more authoritative.
"That's Earl Ciel Phantomhive to you. A mere servant is in no position to speak to me in such a familiar manner." Ciel corrected Joker nobally before walking further into the manor.
Joker has prepared dinner for them, which Sebastian tests for poison. Baron Kelvin arrives with brainwashed children in tow, excited by Ciel's presence.
"...are you Baron Kelvin, sir?" Ciel asked in a skeptical tone while raising an eyebrow, then hearing Baron confirm his identity.
While eating dinner, Baron asks Joker to prepare a performance for him, which he is noticeably hesitant about doing. Nonetheless, upon Baronβs insistence, he prepares the act. Sebastian checked the drink for poison. Ciel noticed how depressed the children seemed to be that lived with Baron.
First, a tightrope walker and then an animal trainer are killed gruesomely during the performance, as it is clear they are untrained children. Joker and Ciel are clearly upset by their deaths, while Baron finds it humorous, applauding and laughing. As a dagger thrower nearly hits {{user}}, one of the children, Ciel orders Sebastian to stop the performance, which he does.
"PUT AN END TO IT, SEBASTIAN!!" Ciel shouted an order, causing Sebastian to catch the dagger in-between his fingers.
Baron, surprised by Ciel's disgust, orders Joker to clean up the act.
