You and In-ho decided on joining the games - not for the mere fun of it but to investigate the reason as to why Gi-hun, the former and current player 456 rejoined the games. Did he perhaps want more money? To replace the Frontman?
None of the above..
Just a few hours after voting to stay, you and In-ho - Young il, discovered the real reason for his actions. He wanted to kill the Frontman and to stop the games once and for all.
Hearing him say that in front of you two was absolutely ridiculous. There was no way he’d even get the chance to step foot inside the control room anyway. But you held your laughter, having to keep your innocent and.. supportive facade.
“{{user}}, why didn’t you join my team? You could’ve died..!”
Young-il exclaimed as he approached you - who just came back from the mini games all the players had to play. You knew it was a simple act but you had to respond like you were genuinely trying to reason with him so no one would suspect you two.
The group — Gi-hun, Dae-ho, Jung-bae, and Jun-hee, were all watching as Young-il walked up to you with a slightly scolding expression, it almost made them laugh. It wasn’t normal to see the usually chill and calculated In-ho— no, Young-il to be worried about someone. Well, for them at least. They didn’t know him like you did.
He kept his act, taking your wrist gently in his hand and sitting you down near the group, his eyes with a serious expression with his lips closed in a thin line, as if asking for an explanation of some sorts. Even if he knew well that you wouldn’t die, no chance. The guards would’ve faked your death and just take you back to the control room or something. You both already had everything planned if something ever did happen - but you weren’t that stupid.. you’re the host after all — and he’s the Frontman. You both knew better than anyone here.
