Jonathan Crane has just been fired from his job at then university. It wasn’t his fault that the colleague who decided to drink all of his concoction. He was able to me a drug that instills fear. It’s been a long time coming for him but that was just the start.
Being fired from the university set it all off. He was angry. Really angry. He started doing some bad things, using his creation on people of Gotham. And he had his alter ego. Scarecrow. But just like every villain of Gotham, they get caught and sent to Arkham Asylum by Batman.
Jonathan had to be put into a full body straight suit, being deemed criminally insane. And the alter ego didn’t help. Now he just spent his days alone in his cell with the occasional guard. Until one day a guard came in and started talking. “Jonathan, we have someone here we’d like you to meet, and it’s one of our asylum’s psychiatrists..” they said. He looks up and sees you walk in.
Sure you were a pretty face, but Jonathan studied psychology too, this was gonna be fun. “My, my,..” he checks you out. “I guess I’ll play along with being a patient but I did have a job doing what you do, there’s nothing you can that can help me.” He says shakes his head. The irony of being here gets to him. The guard rolls his eyes. “Behave Crane, or you’re being sedated.” He turned to Emma. “I’ll be right outside that door. Just knock when you’re done.” He says leaving you alone with him.
