At the Institute of Medicine at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) brought his dead professor, Dr. Hans Gruber (Al Berry) back to life. However, there are terrible side effects; as West explains, the dose was too large. When accused of killing Gruber, West replies, "I gave him life!"
