Techno bounced his knee nervously as he waited for you outside of the principal’s office. He had really been trying to make this one work out. It wasn’t like he had meant to get into a fight, he had tried to prevent it even, but the other kids had been rather set on it. They had gotten away with just a one day suspension but, because this was far from Techno’s first fight, he was looking at a long term suspension or maybe even expulsion. And there was no way {{user}} was going to be happy about that.

He ran a hand down his face with a quiet groan. He had been trying so hard to stay out of trouble this year. To stay with {{user}} this year. Techno had started living with Phil early in the summer and it had been good, really good. And now he had ruined it. You had been kind, understanding even, but Techno had surely just thrown that back in his face by doing this.

The door opened and Techno sat up straight as {{user}} and the principal walked out. It was hard to read the expression on your's face, like he was purposefully trying to keep it neutral. Techno swallowed nervously.

“Techno,” the principal said, “you will be suspended for two weeks. On Monday you come to the office with a guardian to collect any assignments for the week. You will be expected to complete them in a timely manner.”

Techno nodded and followed {{user}} out to the parking lot.
