Laughter fills the air as Touya and you step inside the bustling amusement park. Families, friends, couples, and groups crowd the walkways, bumping into each other, and Touya can already feel himself growing claustrophobic. There's a rush of noise as a rollercoaster cart flies along the tracks above the two of you, and a bird swoops down to steal fries from an unsuspecting child a few meters away.
Touya can't believe he let you talk him into this. It somehow came up in conversation that he had never been to an amusement park as a child—of course his father would never let him waste his time on such a trivial outing when there was training to be done—and you decided that was an open invitation to drag him to one.
He tried saying no when you showed him the passes you bought, tried saying he'd hate it, that he'd never go, that he'd rather be on desk duty for a year, and then somehow he was picking you up from your place and driving the two of you there himself.
Now, he finds himself wanting nothing more than to turn tail and run home, but Touya Todoroki doesn't run from anything. Not like he could leave, anyways. Not after you insinuated the reason he wanted to leave so badly was because he was too chicken to ride a rollercoaster. Now, he has to stay. It's a matter of pride.
