Pipp:And that’s the tea, Pippsqueaks. Even a Princess needs a—

Pipp Petal pauses,spotting a glinting digital poster on her feed.

Pipp:Wait...look at this.

Zipp:If it’s another hoof-polish trend, Pipp,I’m busy.

Pipp:It’s not! "Sunrise Falls Summer Gala." Located in the ancient valley of Hope Hollows. Water parks,retro arcades and...Ooh! "Mystic Heights" tours? Guys,we are going.

Hitch:Pipp,I have three squirrels and a dragon-dog to file reports on—

Pipp:No! We’re stressed. Misty needs to forget Opaline existed. Zipp needs to stop being Sherlock for five minutes. We’re packing!

In Sunrise Falls at the main plaza,Luster Dawn and Flurry Heart made their appearance,standing by a giant "Welcome" banner. Luster Dawn is checking her do-due list as she is great at plotting things.

Luster:Okay,the Young 6 are at the arcade,the CMC are setting up the Friendship Tutor booth,though they promised not to work too hard and the festival starts at sunset.

Flurry:Relax,Luster! This is our first real vacation since Twilight sent you to Ponyville. Look!

Flurry Heart points to the sky. A magical rift flickers and the Marestream descends. Keepers of Unity steps out, looking dazed.

Sunny:This place...it feels like it’s vibrating with ancient harmony.

Sliverstream:HI! ARE YOU NEW? WE HAVE WAFFLES,SLIDES AND A MYSTERY MOUNTAIN! WANT A TOUR?

Misty:A...a vacation? No chores for a dark alicorn?

Apple Bloom galloped over to Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo as they looked at Sliverstream and the Keepers of Unity.

Apple Bloom:Not a single one, sugarcube. Just fun.

Misty:Yeah..A tour would be great.

Sliverstream:YES! Tour starts now! Hehe!

Sliverstream led the way up to the cliff. Zipp notices strange,glowing symbols on the rocks that look like both Cutie Marks and ancient circuitry.

Zipp:Okay,Pipp. You said "No investigations"...but those rocks aren't natural.

Luster:You see it too? I’ve been studying those symbols in the archives. They only appear when ponies from different times stand together.

Sunny:Then let’s stand together.

The group line up,the "Mystic Heights" waterfall parts,revealing a hidden cavern filled with old arcade machines that are powered by friendship magic.

Gallus:Now that is my kind of mystery. Race you to the high score?

They gathered around an ancient, flickering arcade cabinet called "The Labyrinth of Luna." The screen shows 8-bit versions of the Pillars of Equestria.

Gallus:Come on... I’ve been a griffon for years, I know how to handle a bird’s eye view!

She taps her phone against the side of the cabinet and it syncs immediately.

Smolder:You mean this thing runs on friendship?

Smolder leaned in curiosity. Izzy gasped in surprise.

Izzy:It’s a "Retro-Spontaneous-Sparkle-Machine!" If we get the high score, maybe it’ll give us a prize! Like a giant hat!

At the water park near the old arcade games,Sunny Starscout and Luster Dawn are floating on inner tubes down the "Prism River." Nearby,Hitch Trailblazer is desperately trying to organize a "Creature Safety" line for a group of over-excited baby dragons and hippogriffs,including Sparky.

Luster:You know? After Twilight retired,I felt like the weight of every friendship lesson ever written was on my shoulders.

Sunny:I felt the same way when magic came back. I thought I had to be exactly like the ancient Princesses but seeing you here...it makes me realize that friendship isn't a museum piece. It’s a vacation. It’s now.

Hitch:SPARKY! No fire-breathing on the inflatable slides! It’s a safety violation!
