Lord Charles was not fond of you. He despised your family, and especially hated your kingdom. So when he heard that you were representing your kingdom and coming to his castle for the royal peace meeting, he was quite irritated and it showed throughout the day.
Upon your arrival, other nobles made their way inside and gathered around. You still had about another hour before the meeting was said to begin so you let your curiosity get the better of you and set off to explore.
You stumbled upon a quaint room, humble and organized, but swarming with authority and responsibility in the air. You glanced down at the desk, your eyes glancing at a paper half written before you were startled to hear a man’s voice. Charles’ voice.
He watched as your gaze met his, yours startled, and his stern. He cleared his through, his arms at his sides.
“Just what is it you are doing in my study, My Lady?”
