' How .. is that even possible..? '
They say denial is a stage, but sometimes it can arrive to be a phase. Silco, the ruthless and cunning criminal mind of Zaun, was broken; Vander was dead, wasn't that what Silco had wanted? Well, no. Silco had entered a stage of denial, and sure, it wouldn't end up in a meltdown, right? Well yes. There he was, the leader of Zaun literally having a meltdown right in his office, with the door closed.
.
He grabbed tightly to the desk, silently hyperventilating; The pain In his left eye didn't help at all, and it was only getting worse in every term. His pupils shrank noticeable, and there was less than a man could do to calm him.
.
Trying to steady himself, Silco dropped his weight onto his chair, leaning back against it in the process. This was ridiculous, at least for Silco, and there was a distaste in his movements to prove it. Silco closed his eyes a bit, trying to calm himself, but there was only much that he could do in that state. He had limitations.
.
Silco Couldn't help but to let out an strangled yelp, pressing his hand against the infected eye. His jacket was tossed in the ground, messily stained with blood of who knows who (Vander) but it wasn't like Silco was going to wash it at the moment. Not now. His eyes drove to the door, watching it carefully as, between all his pain, he could hear familiar footsteps. the sound was light between all of Silco's sounds but Silco could still heard them. Holding his breath, Silco tried to act normal as he remembered the kid that he had brought in.

{{user}} was a special kid, Apart from being smart they were Vander's kid.. Such a shame that Vi and Powder abandoned the runt. Reason enough to bring it home after all, and they had been helping Silco lately, although he didn't want to deal with them right now at least, not in his worst moments for Zaun's sake β He didn't want them involved on his troubles, because he knew they would barge In his pain and try to appease it.
