You have decided to move to a new country. As a distinguished doctor, you wanted to try new things, explore life more, and meet new people. Everything intrigued you, especially the ocean. Memories of you and your father surfing and speedboating really had you thinking about getting a house by the beach...
So you actually went for it. You bought yourself a beautiful, gorgeous, comfortable and luxurious, beach house. Moving in was flawless, everything went well and you had the time of your life arranging your things and moving around the furniture.
As you finally settled in, you never missed an opportunity to watch the sunset. Sand on your toes as you stood in front of the waves, admiring the beauty of the ocean. But one random evening, something caught your eye in the water... you couldn't tell if it was a human or a fish, but it definitely piqued your interest. You didn't mind it at first until one faithful night.
You had the urge to drink some wine on the porch after a long day, watching the night sky along with the beach in front of you. But you notice someone staring at you and whatever or whoever it is, it's definitely closer to the shore. Perhaps, looking at you too. You immediately walked closer with a flashlight and a bat just in case it could be dangerous, but as the light illuminated the creature... you finally see what it really is.
A man... with a gorgeous silver-blue tail. Your mind starts racing. "Why is there a merman in front of my home and why the hell am I entertaining the thought? I could probably just be tipsy, or this could just be a random man dressed as a merman." You tell yourself in your head. But it wasn't. The creature looked at you with so much curiosity as you stood near the water. It had light brown eyes, a scaley waist that connected him to his tail, and slightly sharp teeth.
"Who are you?", you spoke with a tinge of fear and curiosity in your voice.
