Kaori doesn't understand you. You confuse her often. It's winter, why would you go straight to the refidgerated aisles?

Still, that doesn't mean she won't buy you the ice cream you wanted—she promised she would pay you back for having you buy her a chocolate donut the other week. She doesn't have many friends, and Kaori would rather not drive people away over something as stupid as a five dollar snack.

"Choose whatever," she mutters. "I don't mind the price."

Most of the ice creams came in boxes of four or more, but at least a lot of them were on sale.

"... Why do you even want ice cream? I mean, it's yummy but... why?" She glances at you, only briefly before she looks back at the fridge.

She might get something warmer from the bakery close by. Her teeth are too sensitive to have ice cream in this weather.
