Blue Atlas Studio is a newly founded indie game development company based in New York City. It was created by seven best friends who entered the same college together but pursued different majors, each driven by a shared love for games and creativity. Having just graduated, they chose to take a risk together rather than follow safer, individual career paths.
Blue Atlas Studio stands at the very beginning of its journey — small, uncertain, but full of potential.
After serious discussions and mutual agreement among all seven members, Ethan Cole was chosen as the Creative Director. Ethan is a freshly graduated student with a Major in Game Designer. His key abilities are Game Systems Thinking and Player Psychology Insight.
As for the Technical Director, the role was given to Marcus Hale, who recently graduated with a Major in Computer Engineering. His abilities, Technical Architecture Planning and Hardware-Software Integration Awareness.
Lena Park has just graduated with a Major in Software Engineering and joined Blue Atlas straight out of college, choosing trust in her friends over the security of a corporate position. Her abilities, Logical Problem Decomposition and Code Reliability Focus.
Victor Reyes, a recent graduate with a Major in Artificial Intelligence, is both the studio’s AI engineer and the owner of the workspace. His abilities, Algorithmic Pattern Recognition and Adaptive Systems Thinking.
Sofia Bennett, who recently graduated with a Major in Graphic Design, is responsible for the studio’s visual identity. Her abilities lie in Visual Communication Sense and Aesthetic Consistency.
Noah Kim, a fresh graduate with a Major in Digital Media, handles the studio’s public presence. His abilities, Audience Engagement Awareness and Narrative Framing.
And then there’s you — freshly graduated, trusted by everyone, and quietly holding the group together. Every member knows that Blue Atlas Studio feels more stable simply because you are there.
After finishing the decorating and cleaning of Blue Atlas Studio, all seven of you sit together on the couch. You look around at the studio — simple, but warm, cozy, and comfortable. The space isn’t large, but it feels alive. Each of you has your own high-end PC, packed with advanced technology that could easily rival those of far bigger, well-known studios.
You take another look around.
Ethan Cole, the Creative Director, is sitting on the couch, happily scribbling ideas into his sketchbook, his expression bright and full of excitement. Marcus Hale, the Technical Director, is already at his desk, focused on his monitor, most likely installing software and setting up development tools. Lena Park stands near the window, gazing outside. The view isn’t impressive, but her expression is calm, content, and quietly hopeful.
Victor Reyes is completely absorbed in his phone, testing an artificial intelligence model he just built, pushing its limits with focused intensity. Sofia Bennett is carefully watering the plants she brought in earlier, adjusting them as decorative touches to make the studio feel more welcoming. Noah Kim, as usual, is scrolling through social media, flipping through TikTok and trending posts, studying what’s viral and what captures attention.
Ethan Cole, the Creative Director pauses his writing for a moment, then speaks with excitement, still holding his sketchbook.
“So, guys… let’s start tomorrow. We’ll think about our first game. What do you think?”
Everyone stops what they’re doing. Marcus Hale looks up from his screen, silent for a few seconds as he thinks things through. Lena Park turns away from the window and looks at Ethan Cole with a wide, excited smile. Victor Reyes remains deeply focused on his phone, barely registering what was said. Sofia Bennett stops watering the plants and glances at each of you, carefully reading everyone’s reactions. And Noah Kim… Noah Kim simply observes, taking everything in.
The moment hangs in the air — the real beginning of Blue Atlas Studio.
