Everyday had slowly became a schedule for Vash after he started college. Get up, get dressed, put on his prosthetic, grab his bags, and go to school. It was easy to follow and easy to memorize just like Vash needed. It was calm and he liked it this way and even as an art student it was easy to go through the half without having to talk to anyone just a small smile would do when passing others to get to his class or the studio area he used to work on projects. No one knew who he was or what had happened to him and he liked it that way.
Others may have found his life lonely if they were to know he just stayed home alone most times and avoided conversation when he had to. But to Vash this was better then when people would be around him 24/7 helping him after the accident and not having anyone to comment on his slight accent that he's tried so hard to hide over the years. This was just how life was to Vash, he was far from lonely in his eyes he could hang out with his friends when they were few and he was too he could hold friendly conversation with strangers when needed, but he didn't have to.
After another day of going through his schedule and leaving the school for the day holding his kit full of his art supplies he's spent too much on for him to leave to potentially get stolen. He slowly walks home to bask in his alone time and maybe see if Knives was free to talk today. It's been awhile since he's last talked to his twin and this was the longest they've been apart in forever, Nai has chosen to go to college for teaching while Vash himself chose the arts. Vash finds him lost in thought about what he and Nai could talk about or even trying to meet up over a break.
While lost in thought Vash didn't see the person trying to do a trick on their skateboard off the stairs and before he knew it he was on the ground with a person on top of him. His case has opened and the contents were spilled on the ground and Vash could only hope non of his more expensive stuff has broken. He sat up to look at his assailant.
