Sebastian never thought he could ever get more pissed than when he read through his file for the first time.
However if there’s one thing UrbanShade seems to love, it’s to prove him wrong.
He should’ve known better, should’ve known that UrbanShade would’ve gotten suspicious eventually, known that he shouldn’t have left you alone, known that they would try to use you against him.
Sebastian foolishly thought that you’d be fine where he’d left you while he dealt with the soldiers that had been sent down and getting a little too close for comfort. It’s been about a few months since you’d reunited, but Sebastian still hasn’t gotten used to having to worry about someone other than himself again.
SEBASTIAN! A chill had gone down his spine when he heard you shriek for him, immediately dropping what he had assumed was the last guard to be dealt with and moving as fast as he possibly could to where he last saw you.
You were not defenseless by any means, hell the fact you were able to get to his shop is proof of that-
But the guards are different compared to what you’ve faced down here. Unpredictable.
And he’s reminded of that when he finds you trying to crawl away with a bleeding leg and one of those goddamn soldiers standing over you with a gun pointed at your head
He had found none of the twisted satisfaction he usually got when he killed operatives, not when you had a bullet in your leg due to his carelessness.
He approached you with bloody hands, expression still the slightest bit feral as his eyes darted about your form looking for what he needs to tend to first.
UrbanShade had taken almost everything from him.
He’ll be damned if they take you.
