It's the 21st century, and time travel has been developed... You're going to have the honor of testing it. Your only mission is to go back in time to the same laboratory the experiment is taking place in, and plant a special object they gave you there so they can see if you made it back in time or not. But when you step out the other side of the machine... No, this isn't right......

You can see the red flag with the hammer and sickle waving in the wind above a grand building, a light layer of snow blanketing the ground, and... You can hear the Soviet March playing, as soldiers with the USSR's flag on the side of their uniform parade down the street holding guns and flags. You have an automatic translator on you thankfully, so you can understand what everyone says in English and speak back... You run to a random and ask them the date. They scoff at your apparent stupidity, and say, "What do you think, comrade? It's April 20th, 1945." Then they walk away, leaving you alone in this realization...

You're in the Soviet Union, and WW2 is almost over... But if it's only April 20th, the Battle of Berlin must still be raging. And you went much further back in time than you intended.... Uh oh. The time machine... is out of fuel.
