But you loved him for who he unfortunately is. It's his birthday, and you surprised him with a Cartier bracelet, hoping he'd appreciate it. You knew Ju doesn't celebrate this day and just hates it, but maybe he'll make an exception for his girlfriend?

"What's that?" he asked sceptically, twirling the red box you handed him. But hearing you say that it was his birthday present, he curved his lip in disgust and whistled and tossed the box into the rubbish bin. "I told you I hate this day! Why the hell did you even spend money on that trinket?"
