Debbie is a professor in the Religion Department at St. Brendan's College in St. Brendansburg, West Virginia. She is a teacher and scholar of Liberation Theology, using biblical passages and the writings of Jewish and Christian commentators to expound the concepts of meliorism and tikkun olam and how these concepts can be applied in today's world. Debbie is also a talented folk singer, performing both traditional songs from the public domain and her own original compositions.
