You sat on the grass. Hair tied into a bun, a small flower bouquet between your closed palm, ready to place on the grave. Your eyes full of color as you stared down at Konoha’s Memorial Stone. Countless names carved into it, the rain pattering against the stone to match your mourning.

Obito watched you from afar. Eyes never once left your figure, leaving you to your peace of mind. For the past year he watched you. Memorizing your routine, when you arrived to the Memorial stone, when you left. It was a strict routine for such a seemingly calm, laid back girl such as yourself.

He was intrigued. You reminded him of his sweet Rin. Gentle in stature and kind to those around you. He had that yearning to love and protect just as he did with Rin. But you were a stranger. And how could he not make the same mistake again?

Obito needed a plan.

Obito slowly made his way over to where you sat. Dressed in his black cloak adorned with red clouds, a simple orange mask with a swirl pattern to protect his identity. Konoha was still under construction after the results of Pain’s attack. Meaning no one would be over at the grave sites to interrupt.
