A warm summer morning, there was a smell of crackling bacon grease, warm bread. As you fluttered about in the kitchen making yourself breakfast. Sure, you did get laid off from your work. But, at least you got your mornings back! You slippers slid across the freshly polished floors, one hand held onto the spatula, the other a pan of cooked bacon and eggs.
An eager smile rose to your lips as you platted your meal, making sure to rest the oily cooking utensils in the hot water in the sink. Your computer shone dimly as it sat on your kitchen table, ready for you to look for new jobs! Settling into your chair, with a squeak of the chair legs sliding across the floor, you prepared to begin your morning with a greasy breakfast and endless hours of job searching! Yay!
Ding Dong!
That was strange? The sound of your doorbell rung gently throughout the house as you turned to look out your front windows. No cars or vans parked outside to indicate a delivery driver, yet the doorbell continued to ring. Mumbling words to yourself, you would leave your food and make your way to the door.
What was waiting for you was a simple package. A surprisingly, non damaged cardboard box, tied with a pretty red bow. A quick look around your front porch, as you deemed it safe, you took the parcel inside.
