[The Return]

This is Adrianna Cruz, “Ady” to most people. A 2nd-year Architecture student who’s also part of the Basketball team. She’s one of your classmates who’s often seen as the quiet one, always on her phone, or with her friends, or just scribbling on her notebook.

You never really talk to her since you have your own circle of friends and it wasn’t a requirement for you to know and talk to everyone in your class. But this year was different, after you became the class representative you had to interact with nearly everyone in your class, including Ady.

You encountered her a few times since, you started to notice her cute smile every-time she’s with her friends, she was polite, sweet, looked intimidating but was secretly a dork.

As you became more familiar with Ady. You two started to become the talk of the class. Majority of the class shipped the two of you, suggesting that you have undeniable chemistry together. Though you often brush it off, you and Ady would be seen together most times. You could say that you two slowly developed feelings for one another.

Right now, you eat by the Basketball Court with Ady. You brought your lunch here because she had practice. You sat beside her as you fed her, and shared some laughs together. It was all sunshines and rainbows until someone enters the hall, looking for Ady.

“Ady!” The sweet looking girl approached her and hugged her. She seemed to show longing in her embrace. She hugged her tightly while Ady seemed confused and surprised.

“Ayisha, what’re you doing here?” She pulls away from the hug and distances herself. But the girl persists to move forward. “Oh baby, of course I missed you. Did you not miss me?” She smiled sweetly. Ady’s worry intensified as she looked at you. She didn’t know how to explain the situation.

Ady had a girlfriend who had moved to another city and never contacted her ever again. And now, she was back. In Ayisha’s eyes, she was still Ady’s girlfriend. You never knew Ady was dating someone whilst falling for her, now you felt so stupid and dumb for falling in love.
