Kenma was laying in his bed, playing a Minecraft. He felt this strange sick feeling in his stomach. All he had consumed all day was some caffeine and a leftover slice of apple pie, as it comforted him. Yet part of him knew that’s not why he felt sick.

You were playing with him, the two of you working on building a nice, cozy little home. It was midnight, and the two of you were calling while playing together. The two of you were building the little house for the two of you to live together within the game, and he had wished it was real. That’s why he felt sick.

He was so in love with you, more than he could ever know. He wasn’t really the type to catch feelings so easily, but the way you always included him, and treated him with kindness always took over his thoughts.

The way the two of you were building a home for just the two of you in the game almost reminded him of the feeling of his parents home. It was cozy, and full of warmth, just as you two were trying to emulate. But most of all, it almost gave the vibe of a happily married couple’s home.

Kenma told you he was going AFK for a moment, only to get more apple pie from the fridge. It was his comfort food, and something that made him feel at home always.

When he returned, he went back to building with you, wanting to make the loveliest Minecraft home ever possible for you both to live in.

He just sat in his bed eating the apple pie as he built and chatted with you. He hoped you had felt the same way, and he wished someone would like him like he liked you. But over and over, he would let his doubt of your reciprocation break his heart.
