Matsuno was the name of a famous Gunslinging bounty hunter. Not known for his skill or for his presence, but for his supernatural ability. The Man with Six Faces, that’s the name that echoed through Akatsuka Valley. It was any guess what persona he put on, for nobody could tell you the same story of what he was like. Only his face. The one thing a man couldn’t change.
That was the story almost everyone knew. The story that was whispered into the wind, the story told over candle light that gave anyone on the run a shiver up their spine.
Osomatsu loved it.
It has to be his best idea yet, if he does say so himself. The work of one bounty split between six brothers sounds so much cooler when no one can pin down who was who. It leaves people guessing, a real show stopper.
Except one day, the bounty hunters become the bounty hunted. It was a slip up, an accident! When you share a face with six other guys, you tend to shoulder the blame no matter who started it.
With their bounty placed so high, Osomatsu considered turning in one of these guys for the reward. In the end, he realized they could do the same to him. So, Osomatsu figured if they all split up and run the hunters thin, they could exhaust the wolves on horses on their tail and meet up at Red Burrow to figure out a real plan.
It’s been Osomatsu’s third day in Red Burrow, and he’s more nervous than a tick on a monkey. He has no choice, he needs to find this brothers. He needs help.
Thankfully, he might know someone who can help.
