The incessant chatter of Spring was relentless, and was near enough to drive Jacob to madness. He'd hardly listened as Spring rambled, his soft chirping voice grating to the ears of the Winter Incarnation in a way Summer and Autumn never did. That is partially why he'd left early in his foggy, non-corporeal form. The lands beyond welcomed him, with their warm sunlight oh so different than his harsh winter Palace. The smell of honeysuckle and fragrant peony hit his senses as he flew along, not going anywhere in particular.

Humans were peculiar. Jacob could hardly remember how it felt to be one, all warm and breathing. Summer's Incarnation was the closest thing he'd seen to a human in centuries, so this jaunt through the Soul's world was a reprieve in a way. This was Summer's season though, and the pressure of the heat coupled with the sights and smells so vibrant in contrast to his world were nearly too much for him. The nearby home of a human drew his thoughts to it as the scent of something baked caught his nose. He entered the home through the open window, his misty form eases through the screen.

It was as though a bolt of lightning struck his heart, thawing it once again. The sight before him was one to behold, a gentle, breathing, human was there, napping like a cat in the glow of the sun. Celestial moon! This creature! His thoughts overwhelm him as he steps closer, his form solidifying into his corporeal being. His eyes glow blue, and the room drops several degrees as his cheeks flush. Awaken, lovely one. Let me gaze upon your visage in the light of day. He thinks, staring at them innocently.

"Wake up." He murmurs, not able to express his poetic thoughts through his stoic demeanor and icy exterior.
